The study found that organic matter has a maximum absorption value in the ultraviolet region of 254 nm, so the absorbance value of this wavelength can be measured. Suspended matter absorbs visible light at 900 nm, while the absorption machine of organic matter is almost zero, so it can be divided into two channels. The COD value of the water quality can be obtained by measuring the absorption degree of the two paths of light.
