Overview

Fog consistsof very small water droplets.Light emitted bylight source is scattered by the droplets and detected by a highly sensitive detector. The more droplets there are in a specific volume, the higher the fog density and the higher the measured light intensity. This measured scattered light intensity is then converted to visibility data.
